I captured this flower in the center of Clearwater Beach close to where my brother-in-law has his boat in a most unlikely spot. I love Florida, and in particular Clearwater Beach. I find this area to be one of the most beautiful spots in the US. I love the serenity and I believe this flower better than anything else captures that mood.

The two sets of three pedals within this flower reminds me of the Blessed Trinity: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Three separate distinct persons but only one God. Can’t comprehend that, can you. Neither can I!! This is a good example faith which goes beyond logic or human comprehension but does not nor can it ever conflict with logic. I believe that anything that conflicts with logic is false. Why? Logic is an explanation of the laws of human interaction (Principles) which, like the laws of physics, was created by this same God. .

I was walking though Havre de Grace Maryland in 2003 when I cam across this quaint home with one of the most beautifully adorned yards I have ever seem. Striking isn’t it. I just had to capture this fantastic scene.

In 2002 my wife, Diane, and I were doing location photography in the general area of Los Angeles. In our wandering through this impressive and diverse city and its environs, I spotted and captured this lone pink rose. We like this particular photograph so much that we have an 11” by 14” mounted and framed enlargement of it hanging in our living (Florida) room along with a picture of a purple tropical flower we photographed while in Belize.
