This picture was taken on the pear on Clearwater
Beach in Florida. The beach is one of the most tranquil places on this
planet. I believe hearing the sound of these graceful birds plays the biggest
part of the tranquility. This print is a collection of three pictures taken
just prior to sunset. If you have seen my pictures, you can see I love taking
pictures pointing directly into the sun. You are right; I love the sun. There
were so many of the creatures that day, it was easy getting some good images.

FLYING SEAGULL

This picture was taken on Pier 60 on Florida’s
Clearwater Beach on a windy day. I caught this little fellow suspended in
front of me in mid air. People often ask how I am able to get such beautiful
shots. Quite frankly, I feel it is the grace of God. He wants me to use the
talents He has given me to capture the beauty of nature that He created to
draw all to a very close and intimate relationship with Him. This seagull
reminds me of the freedom each of us can have if we but abandon our attachments
to the things of this world and submit ourselves freely to His Divine will.
We can then fly to unbelievable heights.

EGRET IN THE FIELD

These are such beautiful and graceful birds. I never get tired of seeing these
guys or girls in spite of there being so many in the state of Florida, my new
home state. I took this picture when I was exploring moving to this great state.
I actually photographed through a chain linked fence.

TRINITY

We were on a boat to the Outer banks of the Carolinas when as per my style
I was shooting into the sun and captured this seagull in the midst of landing
on the mast of the boat. I used a cross star filter to make the effect of
the cross. A cross is a very special icon for me, so I often try of fashion
in in my photography when I feel appropriate. This picture makes me feel the
presence of the Holy Trinity as illustrated by the sun representing the Father,
the reflection of the cross from the sun representing the Son, and the bird
representing the Holy Spirit. Just thing God became man, took upon Himself
the guilt of our sins, and died for us. God out did Himself. He gave us the
very best He could give us. That is love with a capital "L"

A park ranger at the Florida state park on
Honey Moon Island pointed this guy out to me. Many of us were getting off of
the boat but no one noticed this fellow to include me. We just need to take
the time to notice what is around us.
