I love see the American Flag flying in the breeze as this flag is doing over the Occoquan River. It is a symbolism of hope for all God's people. It tells us that this great country of ours is should be for everyone regardless of religion or no religion, race, ethnic origins, gender, or age from the moment of conception to the grave. It is a country of the people, for the people and by the people.

Don't you just like this little sleepy town. I am told the shop owners usually open their doors around 9 to 10 AM and then closes them from 4 to 5 PM. Looks to me they learned from the nature which surrounds them. As you can see, I took this picture very early in the morning before this town woke up.

MAJESTIC

This majestic mansion overlooks our sleepy town of Occoquan. I understand it has been around since the mid 1700's. I wonder who has been inside the walls of this grand structure. Some how I feel the Father of our country, himself was here. He really did not live all that far away. Maybe even some of the framers of our model constitution thought of some of their far reaching concepts of individual safeguards here. Ah! the history of this community.
